For delegates a housing bureau provides a one-stop reservation service. This eliminates the need to contact several hotels in search of the one that most meets their needs - the right hotel in the right location at the right price.

For hotels a housing bureau provides a consolidated, accurate and current rooming list. One list rather than hundreds of phone calls and faxes - a service that is much appreciated by our hotel partners.

What does this Service include?

We realize you may not require the full range of services offered by Destination PEI, but we are pleased to provide details for your consideration.

Our Housing Bureau Service will:

• Negotiate, prepare a written proposal and finalize contractual arrangements with pre-selected hotels
  
• Produce a customized reservation form
  
• Provide a 1-800 number and professional staff to answer questions, offer assistance and ensure your delegates' complete satisfaction
  
• Issue a written acknowledgement within 24 hours of receipt of your delegates' reservation
  
• Issue a final confirmation with detailed hotel information and a comprehensive list of attractions in and around the Prince Edward Island area during their stay
  
• Track your reservations on our customized database and provide detailed reports as required
  
• Advise show management of their complimentary room entitlement on an ongoing basis
  
• Provide customized "Welcome" ribbons that can be worn by hotel personnel, reservations staff, shuttle bus drivers and others who will be greeting your delegates
  
• Greet each of your delegates with our special welcome package including customized letter, city map, dining guide and much more. You are encouraged to include your own information in this welcome package.

What does this Service Cost?

NOTHING! A commission/rebate is negotiated with the hotels and paid directly to Destination PEI.

We work with our clients on an individual basis to provide flexibility in the negotiated commission/rebate.
